The Council is proposing to put in place an Article 4 direction, to remove permitted development rights to convert ground floor commercial units in town and local centres to residential properties.
Developer contributions fund over £3.7m in strategic and community improvement projects

From April 2023 to March 2024, £3.778m has been spent on improvement projects, including play areas, greenspaces, sports facilities, community buildings and energy-saving measures in the borough.
