Maintaining a strong local economy is vital for the borough both in terms of employment and wealth generation. The Council is preparing an Economic Needs Assessment to inform our emerging Local Plan. The study will help us to understand how our local economy, employment and economic links to the wider area are changing. The responses gathered will remain anonymous and will help inform findings of the Economic Needs Assessment and the overall economic targets for the new Local Plan.

Business owners

As part of the assessment, we are undertaking a survey of existing businesses in the borough to understand the current and emerging business market.
