Notice is given that the trustee (Reigate & Banstead Borough Council) of Redhill Memorial Sports Ground (“the Charity”) wish to alter the way in which part of the Charity’s land is held.

All the land of the Charity is currently held for the purposes of a recreation ground.

It is proposed that part of the land (being the pavilion including the café and public toilets) are released from the obligation to hold them as recreation ground and that instead they continue to be used as a café and public toilets. There will be no impact on how the public use the recreation ground or the café and public toilets; the change is merely administrative.

The Charity Commission’s consent will be sought as part of the proposed change and the change will only happen if the Charity Commission agrees.

Copies of the full proposal can be obtained from the Council’s website:
www.reigate-banstead.gov.uk/memorial-park-consultation or by visiting the Council’s office at Town Hall, Castlefield Road, Reigate, RH2 0SH.

Within four weeks from the date of publication of this proposal, namely by noon on Thursday 28 November 2024, any person may object to or make comments on the proposals by sending them in writing to the Council at the postal address above or emailing engagement@reigate-banstead.gov.uk
