2. About the building
The fully accessible 457 square metre building comprises:

Ground floor: an entrance foyer leading to a main hall (18m x 10m), an office with two internal windows overlooking the foyer, a kitchen, male and female WCs, an accessible toilet, and a cleaner’s cupboard with a sink and storage.
- First floor: accessible via stairs and a platform lift, this level includes one large meeting room, two rooms designed for clinical use, and a small waiting area.
The main hall is a flexible, multifunctional space that can be used for a range of activities, including sports and physical activity, with substantial storage space and a kitchen serving hatch opening through a shutter to the hall.
The main hall is heated by underfloor heating and all other spaces by an air source heat pump.
Outside, the neighbourhood hall will have external space including a car park.
Other features of the building include:

The neighbourhood hall is expected to be open seven days a week and be operational in both daytime and evenings. The meeting room and main hall will be available for a wide range of activities, including bookable spaces during operating hours.
