3. General Permitted Development Order (GPDO) and Use Classes (Amendment) Order
The Government published a General Permitted Development Order (GPDO), which came into force on 15 April 2015. This added to the changes introduced in May 2013 and in some regards further revise the detailed procedural arrangements.
The Government also published a Use Classes (Amendment) Order 2015, which came into force on 15 April 2015.
The GDPO now consists of 19 Parts rather than the 1995 Order's 43 Parts. The changes to the GPDO and the Use Classes Order are explained in the Explanatory Memorandum.
