10. Town and down Circular Walk
This walk takes you from the former site of a mustard magnate's house and gardens to the Banstead Downs.
Much of this walk takes you across chalk grassland, a rare and wildlife-rich habitat created by the early farmers, who removed the original woodland cover to create fields for their crops and livestock.
