Household bin collections

This year there will be no bin collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day making your household collections one to three days later than usual until Friday 10 January.

Our collection crews will be working Saturdays - on 28 December, 4 January and 11 January to catch up - so please check your collection day and let your neighbours know too. 

Normal service will resume from Monday 13 January 2025.

Check your bin collections

Garden waste service

The garden waste service will take its usual two week break from Monday 30 December to Friday 10 January so our crews can concentrate on the household collections during our busiest time of year.

Garden waste collections scheduled for Christmas Day and Boxing Day will take place on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 December.

Christmas trees will be collected from garden waste members once the service resumes on Monday 13 January.
