Increasing tree cover in the borough will help combat climate change and enhance our natural environment.
For groups who want to plant trees in their local communities, we have produced a quick guide to community tree planting, with lots of tips and useful information to help you set up a scheme.
Up coming tree planting events looking for volunteers
Through winter 2024-25, thousands of trees have been planted in our borough. Surrey County Council (SCC) are supplying trees (often on our council land with ongoing maintenance from our Greenspaces Team) with planting supported by volunteers.
