1. How we can help you

We know that more and more people in the borough are facing financial challenges with rising household bills and inflation. We want to help you access the support you’re entitled to and find the advice available. Council support includes:

Warm spaces

Our three community centres in Banstead, Horley and Woodhatch (Reigate) are operating as warm spaces, Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. The centres also offer a warm and welcoming environment to meet friends and access local services.

There are a range of  warm space venues offering a warm welcome across Reigate & Banstead and Surrey this winter.

Food help

Our Community Development team works closely with the borough’s food clubs and community fridges and some are hosted by our community centres.

Our Money Support service can offer tailored support for up to 12 weeks to help you budget and become more confident at managing your money. The team has also shared some tips on How to budget and save money.
